Bleskin homer powers Chargers in final 3 at State AA

MEDICINE HAT, ALBERTA Jake Bleskin's solo home run in the top of the ninth inning broke a five-all tie to lead the Great Falls Chargers to a 7-5 win over the Billings Royals at the 2010 Montana/Alberta State AA Legion Baseball Tournament.

Casey Johnson's RBI triple pushed the lead to the final margin. Bleskin and Johnson combined for six of the Chargers 12 total hits.

Trevor Johnson went the distance, striking out 10 to earn the pitching victory.

The Chargers (48-22-1) advance to a second semifinal game Wednesday afternoon against the two-time defending champion Billings Scarlets (35-17). The winner will then play Missoula (62-9) for the State AA Championship at 7pm.
