By KFBB News Team

BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) - A former Montana State University football
player who police say fractured the skull of a man the day before
the man's wedding has been taken into custody on suspicion of
felony aggravated battery. Authorities tell the Bozeman Daily
Chronicle that 21-year-old Eric Homec of Bozeman was taken to the
Gallatin County jail Friday after knocking down another man and
stomping on his head, causing a traumatic brain injury. Montana
State spokesman Tracy Ellig says Homec left the football team last
spring after walking on in January.
