Rachel Ousley

Rachel joined the ABC 5 family in February of 2011 as a Reporter. She is excited to be apart of the Big Sky community.

Rachel graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2010 from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. There she earned a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Psychology. She is a member of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity and Phi Beta Kappa. While at school she was a member of Connect, a magazine style newscast that airs in Syracuse, and The NewsHouse, a multimedia news website.

Rachel's career began as an intern at her home town station, WFMZ in Allentown, Pa. In her senior year, Rachel interned at WKTV in Utica, New York.

In Rachel's spare time she loves watching movies. She is a Disney fanatic. Rachel also enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, but most of all spending quality time with her feline companion, Galaxy.

Rachel's favorite stories are about you, the viewers. She encourages anyone to e-mail her with story ideas.
