More Names Added to Veteran Memorial in Great Falls

Posted: Updated:

May 27th is Memorial Day.  A day where we honor veterans of all wars and even those still continuing to serve our country. Here in Great Falls, crews are preparing to honor more heroes.   Each year more names of solders that have served in our armed forces are etched into stone and then plastered onto a blank side of the Memorial Park in Great Falls.
This year workers are working against the weather to try and get 93 names placed on the wall and secured in time for Memorial Day. Each stone plaque has a name of a person who has served in the Navy,  the Air Force, Army or at Malmstrom Air Force Base.
As of Saturday, workers were almost finished and say the wall will be ready by Memorial Day next week for members of the community to come and honor these brave men and women.
