Patton Pleads Not Guilty at Arraignment

Charles Patton Jr. was arraigned today.  Patton appearing in court today and pleading not guilty on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute.

Earlier this month, Patton was arrested after allegedly traveling to Washington state and returning with a large amount of methamphetamine.

Court documents stating a confidential informant told officers that Patton had been leaving Great Falls to purchase the methamphetamine in Washington and would be returning to Montana.

Upon returning to Great Falls, police stopping Patton and upon searching him, found a bag of meth in his possession.

After obtaining a warrant police searched Patton's vehicle and found other drug paraphernalia including a scale and a map of Washington.

A trial is currently set for November 4th.
