United Way Distributes Funds to Community Programs

Posted: Updated:

Over the past year, the United Way of Cascade County has been raising a record amount of money in their most recent campaign.  After receiving a number of applications, the organization is ready to start awarding and allocating those funds accordingly.

The United Way focuses on the three key areas of education, income and health.  Groups from these backgrounds applied for funding and a team of volunteers chose programs based on need and the ability to implement their plans.  The United Way is very excited to announce the receiptiants and love this generous time of year.

If you think the United Way is finished, think again.  They aren't taking a break and plan to focus on various education programs around the county.  While funds are now being distributed - you can still donate to go towards next years goals.
