The First Ever Pet-A-Palooza This Weekend

Posted: Updated:

This weekend was the first ever Pet-A-Palooza at Oddfellow park in Great Falls. Pets brought their owners out to have a little fun in the sun.

"We are really just trying to get the community involved in a pet activity just for fun. Most of the day it is free for the public, they come here just to have fun. We want all pets, rabbits, rats, gerbils, dogs, cats anybody just to have some fun," says program coordinator Laura McElhinney.

Kory Scherrer and her rabbit Dusty came out to meet some of our other animal residents."This is Dusty my rabbit, and it's fun because everybody can come together and have a fantastic time with their pets," says scherrer.

This years turn out by both humans and pets alike was a pleasant surprise to everyone involved in the program."I think its great for our first one, I am very pleased and I think as the years go on we'll probably get more and more," says McElhinney.
