Accident on Lower River Road Injures 1

Early this afternoon a car accident occurring in Great Falls had emergency responders from across the Electric City coming to the aid of one person involved.

The collision occurring shortly before 2pm on Lower River Road.  The accident involved two vehicles, a station wagon and a large pick-up truck, and the station wagon sustained substantial damage.  The driver of the station wagon needing medical attention was taken to Benefis and preliminary reports say the driver had a laceration on their head,  bleeding substantially.  The current condition of the driver is unknown.

The truck receiving some damage to the front of the vehicle, but the driver was reported as being fine.

The portion of lower river road that the accident occurred on was blocked off by GFPD for one way traffic temporarily.
