In 1983 Barry Beach was arrested in Louisiana on misdemeanor charges. In the midst of questioning, he confessed to killing 17-year-old Kimberly Nees in Poplar. It was the first and only time he has admitted to his guilt in the 1979 murder.
No matter how you look at it, the case against him hinges on that confession. Last week in an exclusive prison interview reporter, Sarah Gravlee, asked Beach about that confession.
