Two Great Falls Residents Appear In Court On Cocaine Charges

Posted: Updated:

Two Great Falls residents were arrested yesterday evening and made their initial appearances on drug charges today in court.  Samuel Richard Barer and Lindsey Nicole Fenton were charged on counts of felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute.

The Russell Country Drug Taskforce executed a search warrant to inspect a marijuana grow operation, which was owned and operated by Barer who is registered with the state as a provider with 37 patients.  According to court documents, the search turned up approximately a half pound of cocaine in a bedroom nightstand.  Documents further state this amount of cocaine is typically found to be possessed by those selling cocaine as opposed to personal use.

Barer is out on fifty thousand dollars bond.  While Fenton bonded out on twenty five thousand dollars bond, the judge determined there was not probable cause and her bond was dismissed upon further investigation.
