A Great Falls man is making his initial appearance this afternoon after a felony assault on a peace officer over the weekend and after allegedly causing a disturbance.

Tyreek Stephens appeared in court facing five misdemeanors and a felony assault on an officer.

According to court documents police responded to a disturbance where Stephens allegedly walked down the street punching cars.  Stephen's roommate said that Stephens went crazy screaming profanities.

After locating Stephens, officers ordered him to sit but he would not comply.  Stephens then allegedly walked over to a police car and opened the door.  An officer tried to block Stephens but with no success.

Officers then tried to subdue Stephens with a taser twice but with minimal effects and one officer suffered injuries to his head, knees, and lower back.

Stephens did not to comply with orders and even refused to identify himself going as far as claiming to be Tiger Woods.

Bail was set at $10,000.
