Pet Safety on 4th of July

Posted: Updated:
Everyone has a reason to celebrate our Independence on 4th of July even our pets, but what many people forget about and don't even know about is the well being and safety of their pets during the holiday.

From fireworks to pool parties everyone is out and about on Independence Day celebrating in one way or another but pets might not find the same things as enjoyable as humans.

The Lewis and Clark Humane Society wants people to remember their pets when any sort of loud activity is going on and beware of the very high temperatures.

So while your out there having a good time on your Independence Day don't forget about the safety of your pets. This Lewis and Clark Humane Society shelter will be open on July 5th for any questions you might have.
