Posted: Updated:

"Despicable Me 2" took the top spot at the Box Office over the holiday weekend. The animated sequel raked in $82.5 million, leaving Johnny Depp's western "The Lone Ranger" in the dust with a three day total of $29.4 million.   "The Heat" rounded out the top three, making $25 million in its second weekend.

Speaking of Johnny, after four years of hard work, Johnny Depp has finally finished his documentary on Rolling Stones guitarist, Keith Richards.  The film will focus on the legendary rocker's life and 50 years of fame.   A release date has yet to be announced.

Grammy-winning recording artist Lauryn Hill will sit behind bars for three months for failing to pay about $1 million in taxes over the past decade. Hill reporting to federal prison in Connecticut, where she will live in a open dorm-style facility. While there, she will be expected to work a few jobs such as maintenance, food service or landscaping. Once she is released, she will be under parole supervision for a year and those first three months she will be confined to her home.

From "American Idol" to "The X Factor" and now "So You Think You Can Dance." Choreographer and singer Paula Abdul will be a guest judge on the summer dance show tomorrow. Abdul has won two Emmys for outstanding achievement in choreography. The 51-year-old is best known as a judge for "American Idol."

It may be too early to call it a comeback, but it looks like Andre 3000 will be making music again.   A video surfaced Monday showing the Outkast member in a recording studio with producer Mike Will Made It.

And John Mayer and Katy Perry are officially dating again.  The singer professed his love publicly during his "Born and Raised" tour in Wisconsin over the weekend, dedicating his song "A Face to Call Home" to the pop princess, who was watching from the mixing board.
