The British Columbia Coroner has confirmed Glee star Cory Monteith's death Saturday  resulted from a toxic mixture of alcohol and heroin. Monteith's on and off screen girlfriend, Lea Michelle's, publicist sent out a statement saying Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support, and she is grieving alongside his family.

Tina Turner marries her long-time partner in a civil ceremony in Switzerland on Sunday. The 73-year-old singer tied the knot with German-born record producer, Erwin Bach. Turner was born in Tennessee but has lived in Switzerland for nearly 20 years, and became a Swiss citizen earlier this year.

Robert Downey Jr. is a rich man. According to Forbes Magazine, the former fallen star is now the highest paid actor in Hollywood, with a year's earnings estimated at $75 million. Channing Tatum claimed the number two spot. Rounding out the top five: Hugh Jackman, Mark Wahlberg, and Dwayne Johnson, also known as "The Rock."

It could get awkward at this year's "Teen Choice Awards," with infamous ex-couple Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson up for "Best Liplock." Other nods in the final round of nominations went to Channing Tatum, Melissa McCarthy, Taylor Lautner and Steve Carell.

And the city by the bay was the second stop for season 13 American Idol mass auditions, where thousands showed up outside AT&T Park in San Francisco, to hopefully become the next Idol. At this stage, contestants get about 20 seconds to sing in front of show producers and this season they can use a guitar to help. Next stop, Detroit, Michigan, with four more cities to follow.

ENTIAT, Wash. - A burn out operation is planned for Tuesday morning in an effort to establish a secure line in the bottom of the canyon where the Mills Canyon Fire is burning. Burning material rolling downhill and igniting spot fires on the north side of Swakane Canyon have caused concerns and indicate a vulnerability to a fire escape and repeatedly expose firefighters to very steep terrain and rolling material.
