Fatal Car Crash in Browning

The driver of a SUV traveling on U.S. Highway 2 near Browning reportedly swerved to miss a cow in the road, causing a roll over accident in which two people were killed and two others were injured.

The Montana Highway Patrol says the incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Wednesday. They believe the driver attempted to overcorrect his vehicle when he came in contact with the cow causing the car to roll several times. As a result, it has been reported that all four occupants were ejected.

The accident left a 45-year-old man and a 50-year-old woman, both from East Glacier Park dead. Their names have not been released at this time.

Two children were also injured. One boy was flown to a Great Falls hospital while an 8-year-old boy was taken to the Indian health service in Browning.
