The Search for More Evidence in the Pippin Case Comes to a Close

Posted: Updated:

A search team led by Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton has officially wrapped up.

He and his crew have returned from the Bob Marshall Wilderness just hours ago.

The search was for possible evidence leading to the disappearance and death of former marine Noah Pippin. Police are saying that on Wednesday Sheriff Dutton had found unidentified evidence that could possibly lead to a cause of death for Pippin.

He has been unavailable for comment but it was confirmed that he would return to Helena from the trail head this afternoon. They are taking the evidence to be examined, but as of now there is no current time table on how long that is scheduled to take. We will have more information to you as soon as it develops.
