Montana's Largest Public Auto Auction

Posted: Updated:

Cars, trucks, the old and the new can all be found rolling through Eli's Auto twice a month as they host the largest public auto auction in the entire state of Montana.

"150 to 200 cars at the average auction, it is open to the public and dealers so we get a good dichotomy" says owner, Jason Eli.

Anyone can come here and buy or sell their automobile. This is how the auction works, vehicles show up for inspection in the morning and the auction begins a few hours later. The doors are open for buyers as they view the vehicles as they drive into the building. Stop for auction, and its going once, going twice, sold to the highest bidder. Just like that they have themselves a new vehicle.

"When you buy the car here we issue a 40 day sticker just as same as if you bought it on the car lot, they send that paperwork into the county and you register in the county of your residence." says the owner, Jason Eli.

Over 175 cars on average roll through this auction that is held every two weeks in Great Falls off of South Vaughn Fontage Road. Eli's Auto invites everyone to come down and see why people and dealers come here to buy their good used vehicles.
