A Lawsuit was Filed Against a Bozeman Hospital

Posted: Updated:

A fired employee from Bozeman Deaconess Hospital has filed a lawsuit claiming he was dismissed after reporting safety concerns involving radiation treatment and nuclear waste storage.

Allegedly this medical physicist by the name of Lawrence Slate filed the lawsuit last week.

Reportedly, Slate elaborated his story by saying he was fired on April 26th in retaliation for reporting these safety concerns and that the hospital lost a vial of radioactive waste he believes went to a landfill.

Slate says that when he voiced his concerns to a chief operating officer he was rebuffed.

It has also been reported that Slate claimed the cancer center treated patients with radiation without having clear evidence that they even had cancer.

Hospital officials have declined to comment at this time, but as more information is verified we will bring it to you.
