Why You May Want to Start Watching Your Drinks

Posted: Updated:

Police in Whitefish have issued a news release cautioning residents and visitors about the possibility of incapacitating drugs being placed in drinks.

Police say the department issued the release Thursday after hearing what they call "grumblings."

They are saying that both women and men say they believe they have been drugged.

So far officers believe there have been no active sexual assault cases in the town involving these date-rape drugs, nor have their been reports of robberies after their consumption.

Police say, however that there have been a handful of cases with females who said they felt far drunker than what they would expect with the amount of alcohol they consumed. Some even say they couldn't remember what happened.

As more information arises on these drug cases we will bring it to you.
