Woman Accused of Pushing Newlywed Husband Off Cliff

Posted: Updated:

Judge Lynch did not make a decision if 22-year-old Jordan Graham will be held in jail or sent home to Kalispell under custody of her parents.  That decision is expected to come tomorrow.

But, what we did learn is that according to FBI agent testimony, a fake email backing up Graham's first story that Johnson fell while hiking with mysterious friends was sent from a Gmail account created just days after he was reported missing. Now we know that Graham may have a connection with that email, as the IP address for the account traces back to her parents house.

Still, Graham's mother took the stand saying if the court releases her daughter into her custody under house arrest, she can perform all the necessary duties to ensure she is not a danger to herself or the community, and will not flee before her next court appearance.

Assistant U.S. attorneys challenged this claim, saying Graham is a danger to the community and is mostly a danger to herself, having told friends not long before her husband's death that she was under a lot of emotional stress and even considered suicide.

The defendant's mother also testifying, saying that she and her son, Graham's brother, were at the top of the trail when Graham allegedly went to find her dead husband's body.

Again, Judge Lynch says he will make the decision if she goes home or stays in jail by tomorrow afternoon.
