Arts on Fire Event This Weekend

Posted: Updated:

The Paris Gibson Square Art Museum is hosting their most popular fundraising event. "Having our 2nd annual Arts on Fire event here at the Square, so we have got 12 to 4 today as just a fantastic family oriented fun day, lots of artist, lots of artist opportunities for youth to try things out. they can do a little mural painting they can do a little tile painting they can get their faces painted and of course they can have a root beer bloat with their donation back to the square all the activities are free for the kids," says Tracy Houck, executive director.
Last year the Paris Gibson Square Art museum saw about 700 people show up and this year they look to have even more attendance.

"We have our security guards in place guarding the kiln and all the patrons that are coming through the door today for this event at year we had 700 people come through here on the grounds for this event at the Paris Gibson Square and we are looking for the same again or more," says Jeff Kuratnick. The events will stretch onto the street to fit all the folks looking to attend. "At 4 o'clock we are closing down the street and we are gearing up for a big Bar-B-Q bon fire and a fun evening with 4 different bands playing," explains Houck. Folks were so excited they arrived at the square earlier than the staff.
"It was amazing so people were here before we were this morning setting up we have already got kids out there having fun and doing wonderful things and it's just going to be a fantastic day we have got beautiful skies in Montana and we just encourage anybody and everybody to come join us," says Houck.
