The Great Falls Community has banded together today to walk for a very noble cause. "Well we are walking to end Alzheimer's whetheris for a cure or a way to slow it down or even to prevent the decline. We'reraising money for the research of that cause," says Chairman Eric Spragg. With a silent auction and a pledge in tojoin the Alzheimer's walk the volunteers working the walk are hoping to raise alot of money for Alzheimer's research. "Agood number for us of the great falls walk would be about 18-20 thousanddollars, so that's what we are hoping to bring in," explains Spragg. So far a good number of folks came out tosupport this great cause here inGibson Park.

"Well we probablyhave at least 100 people out here right now so things are going pretty good;registration onsite registration has been good. Looks like the silent auctionis going well. So even a lot of face painting going on too," says Spragg. For those participating, this walk is a very important one. "Weboth worked in the health care industry for years and it's so importance to us,to our population that we work with Alzheimer's strikes elderly at an alarmingrate and its growing everyday it needs to be stopped," explains Tiffany Samel.
