Weekend Dog Show in Helena

This annual dog show will last through Sunday and will be held at the Lewis and Clark County Fairgrounds. People travel from all over the country and even Canada to compete in this show. Over 150 breeds can been seen there this weekend competing for best of breed, group, and show.

Adele Delp from the Helena Kennel Club said Thursday, "Today is our first day of the show we have the breed ring going on or conformation, which there are five rings of that. The dogs are basically judged on their standard how they meet standards for the American kennel club standards written for that breed"

These dog shows are open to the public and are based on a process of elimination. If you are interested you can  make your way down to the fairgrounds in Helena or for more information you can visit www.HelenaKennelClub.com
