A Park Has Popped Up In A Downtown Parking Place

Posted: Updated:

All across the world, groups are building parks on the asphalt it downtown areas.  The idea is to reclaim some of the land taken up by the black top and appreciate a little patch of green grass.

So a park has popped up in Downtown in a metered parking spot right outside of Bert and Ernie's.  So why did Great Falls jump on the tiny park bandwagon?

The BID is always looking for ways to make the downtown area more beautiful and this was definitely a creative idea to do just that.

While the idea itself is great, it's important to get people out there enjoying it.  Fortunately, folks around Great Falls have been taking it all in throughout the day, and organizers hope it continues into the evening.
