Governor Steve Bullock today with a big announcement for the Montana Indian Equity Fund Grant. The Governor Tuesday announced the beginning of the application period for the 2014 Montana Indian Equity Fund Grant. Those eligible to apply include members of the state's federally recognized tribes and enrolled members of the Little Shell Chippewa Tribe.
Bullock stating "native owned businesses and our tribal communities play a crucial role in the strength and vitality of main streets throughout Montana."
The Governor's Office saying that money from the grant can be used for a variety of activities such as the purchase of new equipment or the development of a new product line.
