Local Agencies To Guide Community Through Affordable Care Act

Posted: Updated:

Many of those Montanans are working people who make too much to qualify for Medicaid but not enough to afford healthcare.  The Cascade City County Health Clinic is hoping these people will sign up for the Affordable Care Act despite potential political rhetoric they may have heard.

Grants have provided a number of healthcare providers the ability to hire individuals to guide community members through the program.  Besides the City County Health Clinic, Planned Parenthood is also providing assistance.

Besides typical health coverage, the ACA also covers women's healthcare such as breast cancer and cervical cancer screenings.  No matter your gender or situation, the main message is to inform and cover our region with quality, affordable healthcare.

You can find more information at each of these locations as well as at healthcare.gov.
