KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) - A Marion man has pleaded guilty to felony criminal endangerment after shooting a pellet gun at a motorist and her passenger.

21-year-old Brock McCormack made the plea Thursday in Flathead District Court.

McCormack testified that he was a passenger in a car driven by his former girlfriend when the incident began. He says they chased the other car reaching speeds of 100 mph.

McCormack says he fired 15 to 20 pellets. One of them struck a passenger in the other vehicle.

McCormack is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 12. Prosecutors are recommending a 10-year deferred sentence.
