App Available for Griz/Cat Games and ABC FOX MT News

Posted: Updated:

ABC FOX Montana is becoming one of the state's first mobile broadcasting stations, which means all of your favorite Montana sports games and the ABC FOX Montana News will be right in the palm of your hand.

The app is called Syncbak and it's free in the iTunes and Android stores. After downloading the easy-to-use app, you select the station and pick from the list of programs you'd like to watch.

The app is equipped with live streaming and DVR, so if you miss a football game or want to watch our top stories again, you can go back through the list of saved programs to find it.

"One of the nice things about the Syncbak application is that you can watch television broadcasts on your smart phone device or with an Apple adapter you can simply plug it in with an HDMI cable and play it out right to your TV," explains KTMF Station Manager Tom Ciprari.

The adapters and cords are available in any electronics store.

Right now, our newscasts, Bobcat football games and some Griz games are available through Syncbak.

It also offers some programs such as Jack Hanna's Into the Wild.

Max Media of Montana President Linda Gray says the idea to bring the Syncbak app to our station came after it was announced this weekend's Griz game would not air on the local Fox channel this weekend.

"Really excited. They went into high gear and made it happen very quickly," Gray said.

The Syncbak app is available now.
