Trial Set for Former Tot Town Daycare Employee

Posted: Updated:
MISSOULA -

A January trial date is set for one of the women accused of leaving a young boy in a hot van in a movie theater parking lot.

Michelle Asby -- a former employee of the now shut down Tot Town daycare -- will appear before a jury on January 14.

Back in June, Asby pleaded not guilty to negligent endangerment and failure to report known or suspected child abuse or neglect.

Court documents show Asby and her former boss, Melanie Hoke, claim they thought the child was with them when they entered a Missoula movie theater with 22 other children.

Hoke's trial date is set for November.
