UM Gives Tour Of Most Haunted Buildings

Posted: Updated:

With Halloween approaching, University of Montana students and their parents got a look at the campus' most haunted buildings.

Student volunteers led a tour, which was closed to cameras through Main Hall, Rankin Hall, Brantly Hall, and the George & Jane Dennison Theater. Student actors played the ghosts rumored to haunt each building, from the little girl who haunt's Main Hall's women's restroom, to a construction worker who fell working in the Dennison Theater.

"I believe in ghosts firmly," said theater and dance major, Stephen Alan Seder, who helped plan the tour. "I believe in the supernatural. That's why I've clinged on to this project so firmly, because these stories need to be told, because these people are still here, and they want their stories told."

The tour is held every year as part of Family Weekend at the university.
