Gas Prices Are Low in Montana

Posted: Updated:

You hear all the time about the pain at the pump, about how gas prices are constantly much higher than you want to pay, recent information released by the US Energy Information Administration say otherwise.

From last month, October to this month gas prices here in Montana have actually gone down. According to the US Energy Information Administration in Montana alone average prices for gasoline is 3 dollars and 24 cents. Which is still lower than the united states national average of 3 dollars and 37 cents. Charts put out by the EIA are currently showing a trend of slowly rising prices which could mean that the prices we are enjoying right now might become much higher than they are now, in fact we were at a 12 month low here in the treasure state.

"I just came from North Dakota where gas is 4 dollars, think they should keep going down," says motorist Scott Morrison.

And so where does the state of Montana fall on the map for gas prices, well we are somewhere in the middle of the pack, with Hawaii being the highest at 4.07 and the lowest prices are in Missouri with 2 dollars and 92 cents.
