A Great Falls Woman Wins a Truck In A Fundraiser Raffle

Posted: Updated:

One Great Falls woman sure had a string of good luck today.

Some would even call this good karma. Through a local fundraiser she won herself a brand new truck.

The purpose of the fundraiser was to raise money for educational programs through out Great Falls. Each ticket was sold for $10, $6 of which would go to a student's group of choice and the remaining $4 would go to the Great Falls Public School Foundation.

Over 10,400 tickets were sold. We now go to Leslie Brooking, the winner of the Toyota Truck Raffle, to see what magic number of tickets she bought while trying to help her son, Joshua.

Brooking explains, "I only bought five. I had a limit. I was really excited about supporting FFA, Joshua, and of course the Great Falls Community. I had a limit though. Five was it."

With a grand total of $104,120 raised for education, Dave Crum, the executive director of the Great Falls Public Schools Foundation says that this event was quote, "successful beyond expectations."
