Havre Ready For Columbia Falls

Posted: Updated:

In A Havre, makes the trip to undefeated Columbia Falls for Saturday's Quarterfinal game. The Blue Ponies feel like they're playing with house money after topping a tough Miles City team in the 1st Round at home last week. The wildcats are 8-0, and the top seed in the Northwest, but the Ponies are simply enjoying the playoffs and head in with a nothing to lose mentality.

Blue Ponies Head Coach Jason Christenson said, "You know the kids are very excited after last weeks win and advancing in the playoffs.  Always an exciting thing, and we get to face a team we haven't seen before.  So that's exciting for the kids.  They're going to be a very tough challenge."

Senior Receiver Thomas Gruber said, "It's a great feeling to be able to keep going, keep extending the year, and have another week.  It is going to be a fun game I think on the road.  I guess we'll have to see how it goes."

Senior Lineman Tyler Adams said, "I'm a little nervous and excited, it's good to see that other team and we can go this far."
