The local Great Falls Animal Shelter wants to thank veterans with a free package for our military men and women.

"This is just kind of a veterans day theme it's an adoption promotion its called join the feline frontline so nice little military spin off," says Great Falls Animal Shelter, Tiffany Staigmiller.

The Great Falls Animal Shelter is saying thank you to all of our veterans today with a special surprise.

"What it is yesterday and today just for military appreciation we the staff here and the volunteers made up some little goodie bags, some dog treats and cat treats just to show our appreciation to our veterans and active duty members here in town," says Staigmiller.

Not only is the military a big part of our economy here in Great Falls, but even our retired veterans stay in great falls and continue to serve the public.

"Adoptions a lot of our volunteers are active duty or retired military so it definitely helps out here," explains Staigmiller.

And currently the Great Falls Animal Shelter has a big deal for the active and retired military folk of Great Falls that is just perfect.

"We have a cat promotion starting on 12 of November until the 22nd and what it is all of our cat adoptions are $25 the kittens are 6 months or younger you're looking at a $50 spay or nurture deposit which is refunded back to you so," adds Staigmiller.
