Sports Director Ben Kaplan is a Thompson Falls High School and University of Montana graduate who is excited to be back at the station where he began his on-air career in January of 2005.

Ben was involved in both news and sports during his first go around at KFBB, before leaving in April of 2007 to work closer to his family in Sarasota, FL. After spending a year as the Sports Anchor/Reporter at WWSB, the ABC affiliate in Sarasota, Ben couldn't resist the urge to get back to the Northwest.

In 2008, he moved to Spokane, WA where he served as the Sports Anchor/Reporter for three years, and then the Sports Director at KXLY.

Ben loves covering high school and college sports, and KFBB's commitment to both is a big reason he's back in the Electric City. When he's not working, you can find Ben struggling on the treadmill at the gym, watching his favorite teams play (he's a Cubs fan… so he can endure disappointment!) or catching a movie.
