Tigers Looking to Sack Saints

Carroll Senior quarterback Dakota Stonehouse will have one of his toughest tests of the year against Georgetown this Saturday. Tigers linebacker Brock Messina leads the country in sacks per game and the team as a whole is tied for 3rd in the nation. Earlier the team talked about what they needed to do to protect their quarterback.

"We just really need to focus on our posture and our pass protection. Technique is going to be premium on Saturday. That's what we've really been drilling this week and we'll be ready," said Levi Coughlin, Senior offensive lineman.

"They've got to do a good job of protection. They've really got to study the film. Do what they do in terms of pass rush and what their favorite moves are, what their counter moves are. They've got to help our guys with the back or maybe the tight end in the game. It's going to be good. It just comes down to a lot of one on one matchups with receivers, Dbs, offensive linemen as well as pass rushers," said Saints head coach Mike Van Deist.

The Saints and Tigers will face off this Saturday at 12pm in Helena.
