Line Forms Early at New Cabela's

Posted: Updated:
KALISPELL -

Black Friday festivities at the Cabela's Outpost in Kalispell do not start until midnight, but there is already a line.

On Thanksgiving, the Cabela's Outpost is closed. The day after Thanksgiving, doors open at 5:00 a.m.

The first 600 people in line will have the chance to win a free GoPro camera, Browning rifle, gift cards, and more.

From midnight until opening, there will be games and hot chocolate for those willing to wait it out in the cold.

Some have chosen to skip Thanksgiving dinner entirely, bringing nothing but cell phones and conversation to pass the time in line.

"We might take shifts. We have a few family members that are willing to bring us food," said Emilio Crispin, one of first waiting in line.

Cabela's is open until 10:00 p.m. on Black Friday and opens again at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 30.
