Griz Have Cold Weather Advantage

Posted: Updated:

The 8 seeded Montana Grizzlies are enjoying their Thanksgiving at home with family and friends and without a game this weekend.  Montana earned a 1st round bye and will await the winner of Coastal Carolina and Bethune Cookman, two warm weather teams that won't be used to the cold, which is another advantage for the Griz come next weekend at Washington Grizzly Stadium.

Head Coach Mick Delaney said, "well, we've been in the cold weather since we started in last January so regardless of what the weather is here in the next week and a half, is fine with us.  Cold weather teams live in the North and Far west and Midwest and warm weather teams live in the South and we happen to be in the North."

Montana will play their first playoff game this season on December, 7 at 1pm in Missoula.
