Griz Still Working During Bye

Posted: Updated:

The waiting game will just last one more day for the Griz as they enjoy latter portion of the bye week they earned.  The Griz taking the weekend off to rest up for a daunting week ahead.

The Griz find out if it is Bethune-Cookman who won the MEAC or Coastal Carolina who won the Big South.  The Griz have not been focusing on either, but more themselves this week.  Their focus is on continuing to get better as a football team and to play their best football come December because they realize that from here on out, there are no second chances.

Griz Senior Defensive End Zach Wagenmann said of the week, "I feel like the whole demeanor of our side of the football that we play with more of a sense of urgency.  Towards the end of the year with the playoffs ahead we rededicated ourseves and re-focused ourself and we're doing things well."

Senior Tackle Danny Kistler Jr. said, "This season has been about the weathering the storm and staying in there and fighting mentally and that's what I saw last week."
