Carroll Saints Advance to Semi-Final, Beat Missouri Valley

Posted: Updated:

The Carroll Saints win 27-3 over Missouri Valley and advance to semi-final game against Cumberlands next weekend.

Many of the Saints players were happy with the win and excited about extending their season.

"We were excited to kind of show what we had. I think it fired up our offense too because know one has really stopped them all year in my opinion. And I think they did a great job today," said junior linebacker Sean Blomquist.

"They were ranked one of the Number 1 defenses in the nation for a reason and they played like that today. We had to give them our best game and we got a win," said junior running back Dustin Rinker.

And lastly, junior wide receiver Anthony Clarke said, "as a whole group everybody did their job. It was nice to see and it feels great. Making playoffs, not making it last year and getting to the 3rd round. We just want to keep it going."

Carroll moves to 12-1 on the year and will look to continue their success against Cumberlands.
