UGF Men Win 5th Straight, Avenge Early Season Loss to Lethbridge

Posted: Updated:

Payback is always enjoyable. Just ask the University of Great Falls Argos who beat the University of Lethbridge 75-48 on Wednesday night, avenging a loss to the Pronghorns from earlier in the season.

It was never really a contest in the rematch. The Argos jumped out to an early double digit lead on the way to a 33-19 advantage at the half. Marcel Towns was one of five Argos to score in double figures, leading the way with 16 points. UGF shot 41% from the field, while Lethbridge struggled making just 31 percent of it's shots.

With it's fifth straight win, UGF improves to 8-2 on the season. The Pronghorns fall to 11-6. The Argos are back in action at home on December 13th against Northwest Indian College. Lethbridge plays at Montana-Northern on Thursday night.
