The Weather Chef: Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Welcome back to another segment of The Weather Chef.  I'm Meteorologist Micah Rumsey showing you how to bake a very great cookie recipe.  Not only is it easy, it's fun.  The kids can do it.  The adults can do it.  Of course, I'm here in the Pizazz Performance Kitchen where we have all the best appliances, all the best gadgets to make the best possible food.

Double Chocolate Chip Cookies


Ingredients:

1 Cup Butter
1 ½ Cups Sugar
2 Eggs
2 Tablespoons Vanilla
2 Cups Flour
2/3 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
¾ teaspoon Baking Soda
2 Cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips


Preparation:

1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2) With a mixer, blend together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy.

3) Mix in flour, cocoa powder and baking soda.

4) Stir in chocolate chips.

5) On an ungreased cookie sheet, put golf ball sized amounts of mixture.

6) Bake 8-10 minutes and let cool completely.

The water park was evacuated while crews worked to put the flames out.
