Christmas Tree Sales are Up

Posted: Updated:

Tis the season to buy your Christmas tree and according to the Uptown Optimist Christmas tree sales have been trough the roof this year as they have sold half their stock already.

"Sales are going great basically we have reached our halfway point and to be quite honest with you and as you can take a look the trees right now we have less than half trees. I think basically after today we'll probably be out of trees by the end of next weekend, trees, wreaths and that's a great news," explains Roger Lesofski.

All the money raised from the tree sales will be going back to the community in big ways.

"You know the great thing about it is the people in Great Falls support the Uptown Optimist, because they know what we do all that's spent here goes right back into the community for kids," explains Lesofski.

Proving that picking out a Christmas tree is family event here in Great Falls, during yesterday's low temperatures the Uptown Optimist saw tons of families braving the cold to find just the right tree.

"Perfect and you know our trees are really looking good, their a little cold this morning, but by the time you get them home these trees are absolutely gorgeous it can tell you that. We've got them all sizes from 15ft tall down to 3ft. With wreaths, candy canes, big wreaths as you take a look at it we got everything that meets every bodies need," says Lesofski.
