Bullock Announces Grants to Update Montana Schools

Today Governor Steve Bullock announced over $700,000 in grants will go to update public schools across Montana.

A total of 36 public school districts throughout the state will receive these grants from the Montana Department of Commerce's Quality Schools Planning Grant Program. These grants will provide financial assistance to K-12 schools in improving their facilities and enhancing learning opportunities for students.

Planning funds are awarded on a competitive basis, a few of the awarded projects include school facility condition assessments, energy audits, and comprehensive master plans.
