Rustler Boys Basketball Looks to Return to State

After getting bounced in last year's State Play-in game by crosstown rival Great Falls High, the Rustler boys basketball team is poised to have a bounce back season.

The Rustlers say they are a bit undersized, but are also an athletic team that is looking to get out and run on their opponents. CMR will travel to Kalispell to play Glacier this Friday in their season opener and are excited about getting the season underway.

"After the way we finished last year we're real excited to get going. We didn't finish on the note we wanted to - lost that playoff game to Great Falls High and it's a chance to go out and make amends and get to that State tournament," says Head Coach John Cislo.

"Our goal is always State, always has been. I think we definitely can achieve that this year but we're going to have to work at it. We're not that big this year so we're going to have to be a fast and scrappy team but if we buy in and work at it I think we can definitely be successful," says Senior forward Jayse Mclean.
