Mining City Duals Day 1

The Mining City Duals got off to a roaring start down in Butte today.  Some results Havre defeated Bozeman 48-27.  Due to the Blue Ponies performance on Friday, they won their pool and have advanced to the next round.

The Bengals of Helena one day after Crosstown were a little off key as they were defeated by Great Falls High 57-15.  The defending AA Champion Bison won their pool as well.

In other AA action, the CMR Rustlers were close, but not close enough as they were upended by Billings West 43-39.

The Capital Bruins one day after Crosstown defeated Polson handily by a score of 60-21.

The Conrad Cowboys from Class B defeated Flathead from Class AA 48-33.

Day two is tomorrow at Butte High School.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - The man killed in an early morning crash on Friday has been identified as 34-year-old, Alejandro E. Apodaca. Just before 12:30, Apodaca crashed his car on S. Bowdish Rd. He was traveling South on Bowdish near 17th when he lost control of his car, uprooting a tree in the front yard of a home.
