Beyonce Knowles is opening up to fans about the release of her latest self-titled album. Calling it the bravest thing she's ever done, shocking fans and the music world, when she unexpectedly dropped her fifth solo studio album online in the early hours of December 13th. And while attending a screening party in New York, Saturday, Knowles acknowledges it was a risky move, but says she is proud of herself for taking it.   The album features 14 new songs and 17 videos.   It sold over one million copies worldwide in the first week, setting a record for iTunes.

And the girl is full of miracles, making some Christmas dreams come true, paying for shoppers' Christmas gifts at one Massachusetts Walmart. "Queen Bee" stopped off at Walmart, Friday en route to her Boston concert. She did a little shopping for her baby girl, Blue, and also surprised shoppers with $50 gift cards.   No stranger to a mic, she got on the store's PA system, announcing her gift, and wishing shoppers a "Merry Christmas." Reports say the Grammy winner handed out 750 gift cards, totaling over $37,000.

"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" continued to dominate the box office for the second straight weekend, taking the top spot with $31.5 million and beating out "Anchorman 2's" $26.8 million debut.  Disney's "Frozen" chilled out at third with $19.2 million.

"She said yes!!!" that's the message from NBA star Dwyane Wade. The Miami heat player popping the question to long-time girlfriend, Gabrielle Union, over the weekend.   The announcement appearing on Instagram, next to a photo of Union wearing a nice big rock on her finger. It'll be the second marriage for both the 32-year-old MVP and 41-year-old actress. Wade proposing right before the Miami Heat's Christmas party, where Wade gifted green jackets to each of his teammates.

And looks like "Fast & Furious" is back on track.   Although filming of the franchise's seventh installment was delayed following the death of star Paul Walker, Vin Diesel has revealed via Facebook the movie's new release date: April 10, 2015.
