Pursuit in Helena Ends with Vehicle, but No Suspect

Topping your news this evening, a pursuit early this morning in Helena ended with no one in custody. The Helena Police Department is asking for the publics help with any information leading a suspect.

At 3:20 this morning officers from the Helena Police Department attempted to stop a beige SUV in the parking lot of the Capitol Hill Mall for suspicious activity. The SUV fled at a high rate of speed and pulled into a residential area to the town and chase was stopped due the speed of the suspect vehicle in the residential area. The vehicle was later located at the intersection of Lewis and Oakes with no one in or around the vehicle.

    ATHOL, Idaho - A spokesman says no one was hurt when a fire damaged a restroom inside the Boulder Beach Water Park section of Silverwood Theme Park Sunday. The fire broke out at about 2 p.m. in the restroom building on the northeastern side of the park. Employees evacuated the water park, but the rest of Silverwood Theme Park remained open.
