UPS and FedEx Expect End to Delivery Delays

Posted: Updated:

People all over the country expecting gifts to be delivered to their door on Christmas eve were left upset and gift-less as UPS and FedEx stated they were having delays with such a high volume of shipments.

People all over the nation are still waiting for gifts to be delivered today by two of the biggest package shippers in the country. UPS and FedEx are blaming poor weather, system overloads, a shorter Holiday season, and the increase in online shopping for the delays in the gift arrivals. Now the companies are in a scramble today to get as many gifts to their destination as possible, and UPS expects the remainder of the packages to be delivered today. Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut has ordered a refund to be issued to any customer that did not receive packages in time. If you are seeking a refund, you are eligible with UPS if you mailed using air or international services and can contact 1-800-742-4877 for more information.
