Young and old alike made their way to the Expo Park for the 10th annual Christmas train fun run.
"This is the annual fun run that the Great Falls Model Rail Club has put on in conjunction with the Montana Museum of Railroad History we've been doing it about 10 years and it's an opportunity for people for people who have gotten train sets over Christmas to come down and try them out on a really large layout," explains Dean Urton.
Folks come from all over Montana to both watch and try out their own trains on the museum's large track.
"Both types of spectators come down here we have the people that come down here, who want to see what we have done with the layout, to watch the trains run. And then we have the people who bring their children and the kids to run the trains for the first time. Oh the kids have a blast with this here and watching their trains run for anywhere from a half-hour to 45 minutes or so," says Urton.
For young train enthusiast Travis Bronson it's exciting just to watch the trains run.
"I just like trains. The bridges, how they run on the bridges," says Bronson.
